Overview

The Koi Tuxedo Guppy combines two of the most popular traits in the guppy hobby: the vibrant orange, red, and white coloration associated with Koi guppies and the distinctive dark rear-body coloration of the Tuxedo strain. The result is a striking fish that immediately draws attention as it swims through a planted aquarium.

This variety is available in both Standard Fin and Dumbo Ear forms. Dumbo Ear males develop enlarged pectoral fins that resemble the oversized ears of an elephant, creating an especially elegant swimming motion. Female Dumbo Ear guppies carry the Dumbo Ear genetics but do not develop the dramatically enlarged pectoral fins seen in males. Female Dumbo Ear guppies generally resemble standard females in appearance.

Tank-bred and fully adapted to aquarium life, Koi Tuxedo Guppies are active, peaceful, and easy to care for, making them an excellent choice for both beginning and experienced aquarists.
